Gaby Tayoun             Chairman & CEO

Gaby’s career developed through his project involvement in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa where he worked in Contracting, Consulting, and Investment Management.  He is a Board Member and an Advisor to a number of US and European Corporate Boards and CEOs and is an established strategist for Real Estate. Gaby has lead sophisticated DBOT, PFI, PPP, and other investment structures in Healthcare, Offices, Retail, Hotels, Residential and Leisure projects.  He holds a degree in Building Economics and Real Estate Investment Management from Strathclyde University, Glasgow.


Alexander (Sandy) McMillan         Partner. Chief Operating Officer

Sandy is a Chartered Engineer with degrees from the Universities of Strathclyde and Glasgow and is a Member of the UK’s Institution of Civil Engineers and Association for Project Management.  With over 30 years experience as manager, consultant and contractor in the real estate and construction sector in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, he specialises in development, project and cost management and related consultancy services.  He has managed projects in the energy, industrial and commercial property sectors, where he has advised a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors, commercial organisations, end users, and funds.  Sandy is committed to achieving our success through assuring the quality of our services and staff, ensuring successful delivery of our clients’ objectives and fostering win-win relations with our partners and suppliers.


Mike Huyton             Partner. Executive Director

Mike has been a partner in Europtima since the year 2000 specializing initially in retail and now heading up the medical sector of the group. Mike is based in our Geneva office from where he has led PPP developments in a number of European countries, particularly the UK where he headed up the property side of the consortium in the first build and operate ISTC centers in both Bradford and Burton upon Trent. Mike is also CEO of the property development company created by Europtima to provide a channel for funding into the International healthcare market. Current area of activity includes Europe and MENA regions.


Tarek Aboudib            Partner. Chief Financial Officer

Tarek holds a Master degree in Financial Services Management from the Surrey European Management School, University of Surrey, Guilford. Tarek’s career developed through his employment in banks and establishments in the Middle East and Europe, where he worked in Client Services, Cost and Quality Control, Auditing, Accounting, Treasury transactions, and Financials.


Ghassan Tayoun        Partner. Business Development

A  polyvalent civil engineer, Ghassan has acquired a wide overall experience in tourism infrastructure master planning.  He harbors a deep conviction in the need to integrate environmental and socio-economic criteria in order to ensure sustainability in development.  With good communication skills, especially in complicated socio-political contexts, he has a proven capacity to convince decision makers to adopt long-term policies and public-private partnering.  Ghassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Dalhousie/TUNS in Canada, a C.H.E.B.A.P from C.H.E.C, Paris, France and a D.E.S.S from Université Paris VI, France.
